Week two in the Tegucigalpa area. He is very excited, loves his new companion and wants things to go well. It is evident that he misses some of the fun things we do as a family but doesn't seem to dwell on them other than enjoy the memories that come with them. Here you go.
Hey Mommie!
¿Qué tal estamos? Well crap I want to go camping with the boys! I have not camped like that in a long time haha. After I get back I want to go on hunts and go camping everywhere. Ahhhh I love little Navy and I hope to see her after I get back and get a big huge hug from her. I love you guys so much. I am glad modesty night was fun. I miss youth activities on Wednesdays because they were always so much fun to go to. Ohh Cody left and I hope him for the best. He has such and awesome opportunity to serve and in Spanish wooohooo! I love hearing all of my frriends leaving for their missions. That makes me feel really good. I hope Scott goes on a mission and what happened at BYU Hawaii??? Tell him to prepare himself for a mission and go on one. He needs to feel the absolute pleasure to serve the Lord for two years.
Well this week was good not the best but we are trying to work with members and get them animated to help us. The only way we are going to get into the houses of people is through members because the members know the area better than we do. This week we went with this awesome strong family the Valle´s. Hermano Valle was a stake president and bishop multiple times as a member of the church. He was one of the first converts in Honduras and he was sealed in the temple with his wife in the Mesa, Arizona temple. The reason is it was the only temple close enough back when he was converted. They gave us a few references and they went with us to go see them and work with them. Their faith in the church is super strong. Also we had a couple lessons with openening the mouth everyday, but none really to progress. Also this weekend we went to another area to help some missionaries with their baptism. Elder Maza is a DL and he needed to do an entrevista in Sabana Grande. This city is in the mountains and is in the middle of no where. When we were traveling to Sabana Grande and it was foggy and misty going there. The place is really cool to go see. Well we had to stay there for the night because there were no buses to come back until the next day. We came back to the city with the Branch from Sabana Grande because we had the opportunity to dedicate the El Salvador Temple which was sweet to see. Elder Erying dedicated the temple and he is so awesome. He gave a little prophecy about the missionary work in Central America, but then stopped because he needed to. Anyways we struggled with missing our Saturday day of work. But it was all a baptism. Anyways not much else to say. The city is huge though and its hard to describe how big it is. Well thanks for everything.
Con amor,
Elder Hall
