Week 86 Danli

There are more and more things to share lately regarding how things change at home.  Perhaps we shouldn't share so much? but I doubt we could hide much of what happens until he returns.  You can see how excited he is about a few of the changes such as Trey Sparks' mission call.  What a great opportunity for him.  it will be work but it will be the best thing ever for the future.  In fact much of the news at home is good but as you can tell change is different and new for him.

Dear Family,
Well that is crazy that Chelsey broke up with Jake, Emily is having another girl, Trey is going on a mission, and who knows what else you guys wont to tell me!! I am not going to lie its been hard to keep focus at times because my time is running down really fast!! Less than 2 months and time just flies by like nothing. Yeah sorry about the fees for withdrawing money and checking money. I didnt know until a couple of days ago. Congrats on the new callings gees you guys have a lot of responsibility on your hands especially dad lol. But I am sure that he will be fine and do what he needs to do. I am so excited that Trey is going on a mission!! Tell Trey congrats and I am super bummed that he leaves before I get home!! I am sure that Chelsey will find her boy in Utah like Emily did lol. Emily why cant you have a boy already!! I wanted a nephew not another girl. Oh well what are the names for her??? I say Sydney!!
Also that is weird that my records are now in Washington. What do the members say about me?? I am sure that Mom and Dad tell a ton of embarrassing stories about me all of the time lol. Oh well and I sure that I am going to stay in Washington for a few weeks and then make my move to Utah. My release date I have no clue and my flight plans I have no clue because the missionary that is in charge of things like that he hasnt said anything to me at all but I will ask this week because we are going to Tegus for the Christmas party of the mission so that should be lots of fun!!

As for the work we had a crazy week with new investigators and possibly 7 baptisms this saturday!! We were working in this pueblo called Arauli which is kind of far from where we live. We have to ride bikes out there and we have been receiving a lot of references from members out there to teach and work with. That area is pretty big and we want to put a new branch there and hopefully another pair of missionaries. The baptisms that we could possibly have are kids from 9 to 12 years old and they all have been to church and want to be baptized so we are going to see what happens this week. Also they announced the temple dedication on March 17th!!!! So Honduran members are going to be crazy on that day!! The Open House starts on February 7th till March 4th. Ahhhhhh the week I leave is when they will have the open house!! That makes me frustrated!! haha I wonder if I can get special permission to go see it inside before I leave!! I would love that sooo much. I hope I can at least see the inside of it. Anyways the work is going well and the Christmas season is amazing. As a zone we decided to plan a special christmas dinner this year that I think no one has ever done. We decided that we are going to have christmas dinner for the poor people that live in our areas. We are going to invite a certain amount of people to come and have an awesome christmas that they have never experienced before. I think its a really goood idea and I am going to use that 100 dollars for this activity. So why not make a memorable christmas before I leave the country that I love?? Well I hope all goes well with you guys this week and I cant wait till we can call each other for the last time in Honduras. But thanks for all of your love and support. I hope that all of you have an amazing christmas and remember why we celebrate the season. Love you all and thanks!!

Week 85 Danli

Based on his title of his letter to us we may be too anxious for his return.......

Dear Baggy Family,
Well I knew that you all would be super excited to use skype haha after mom just pleading to me to use skype even though I wasnt suppose to. Also who is all going to be there at the call?? Just the family or grandma, grandpa, Dicksons, Lawrences, and all of them. Or are you saying that they all will be there for my homecoming??? I cant believe december is here already and I just completed 22 months in my mission yesterday!! Mom I cant believe that you have the count days going lol!! Now its going to be a challenge to focus. Sweet Chelsey wants to go to Utah with me that will be really fun!! What about this Jake kid? What are his plans? Well my homecoming sounds like a huge blast now and I am way excited to see you all!! I just have to keep going you know. Some days are hard but I am really going to be super sad when I leave. Also the family thing yeah 100 dollars would be enough and if not I will let you know. I need to buy a new long sleeve shirt because I gave my last one away to my convert because he doesnt have one. So could you help me out with that please??
Well this week was crazy as usually going to Tegus for a meeting with President Hernandez and the other ZLs. That meeting was super spiritual and great because we watched the talk that Elder Jeffrey R. Holland gave this last conference and he talked about being disciples forever and never going back. We all shared our testimonies and how we need to keep working and being disciples in this mission and after the mission also until we Jesus Christ comes. It really impacted everyone!! I loved the part that we need to love God and serve him forever!! Very powerful speaker. Then our Zone Workshop was really good with the zone and they all seem super animated and willing to work really hard. After we had to get some marriage papers out in a far away city called Trojes!! That is so far away from where we are in Danli. We had to take a 3 hour bus ride and that took up our whole day!! We were so exhausted afterwards. Then Saturday we found some positive investigators and they are interested in our message. They are an old couple who are really funny and cute they have lived together for 47 years and have never been married but they do want get married. Then there nephew is really interested and wants to learn more about our church. His name is Marvin really good kid. So yeah we are working hard and keeping focus even though its hard in this time of the season. Sunday we watched the devotional which was really good and they were all very good messages!! President Monson looks pretty old now and I wonder if he is still going to keep chugging along. I heard that he has been sick lately but I am not sure if thats true. Yeah thats about it for me haha. I can tell everyone is super excited for me to get home you know. I am too no worries the day will come. Thank you so much for your prayers and your help haha. I love you all and I wish the best for you all. Take care!!

Week 84 Danli

We are now to Week 84 in Honduras and Thanksgiving just passed.  We can see that he is starting to talk more about life to come here in WA and in his future.  Yet he still remains engaged in the work and wanting to finish with the people there.  The news that we will be able to Skype is very welcome as we can get a chance to see him live for a few minutes.  Time is moving fast....yet seems very slow on a daily basis for us.

Dear Family,
Well it sounds like your thanksgiving was a success and you had lots of fun with the family. I can´t wait till I can come home and do things with all of you guys and I am sure that Josey looks super different. Also whats the word with Chelsey and Jake?? Also I have the essays done now so no worries I am going to see President Hernandez this week and I can get that endorsement done. We as a zone just went to Pizza Hut to celebrate thanksgiving haha nothing huge. Also yes I talked with Elder Unitt about my flight plans and I am going to give him the information so he can fill everything out. I am actually pretty excited to go home to a place that I dont know. New adventures area always fun! Well I have some really good news for you guys haha. I know mom is going to flip but we had zone conference this past week and president gave us permission to us to use Skype to call home!!!! I know its pretty crazy but I am super excited to call home now lol. Please dont cry when use see me when the time comes or I will start crying also but anyways awesome news right?!!!

Now as for the work we found some new families that had some really good questions for us to answer and they are really receptive. We taught them the Restoration and they loved it. There names are Wilfredo and Deysi. We are hoping to have them be baptized this next month. We are finding more but we still need to visit them again to see if they will progress more. Also on Sunday we had tons of investigators in church from a little area called Arauli and they all loved it. We have been trying to get out to Arauli all this week but we were to busy with receiving a new missionary, zone conference, phones we had to fix and stuff like that. Also we have a meeting with President this week with all of the Zone Leaders. So I feel super bad because at times we just leave our area to die because we dont get to work to much in the area. I would love to stay and work but at times we had to do other things for the zone. But to be honest we had a pretty good week with working and helping out the zone. We had some pretty good success this month and the zone feels really good about it!! Man I love this work! At times its just hard to think that I am leaving soon and I dont want to. At the same time I do need to leave so I can see all of you guys and start my life. Anyways not much is happening here and I love all of your help and support all of you are awesome. Thank you for the packages and I am sure that I wont open them till the day of Christmas!! Well tell everyone I said hi and I love you all. I will talk to you guys later!!

Week 83 Danli

Still in Danli for now.   He has expected to be moved from Zone Leader to Trainer but nothing yet.  He seems fine either way but if he finishes in Danli that will be great.

Dear Family,
How is it going my favorite family in the whole wide world?? Wow Chelsey is going big on Thanksgiving huh?! Who is her friend Maddie?? lol Also Dad I will work on those essays today and send them to you tonight. So watch your email for later tonight to see the essay. Also I talk to my mission president about the interview and I need to finish my application first so he can fill out things. I need my ID number?? Yeah stuff like that I need but I will get those essays done today.  Also crazy about the Ward splitting and stuff!! Never thought that JD would be released as Bishop, but I am sure the Lord has something in store for him. Also I have been thinking that I should go home to Washington because it would be a little more easier and we are all going down to AZ anyways. Plus I dont want to carry all of my mission stuff around when I am in AZ like that. I might as well go to Washington and get settle in a bit then we can go to AZ as a family to visit. Thats what I feel about it. So I probably need those records in AZ to go to WA right?? I am super excited to see the california friends again!!! Yes I am still writing Taylor. I bet she is excited to see me too lol. Also BJ sister is going on a mission???? crazy!! That is crazy how fast time flies and I am just excited to see everyone again. Thanks for the christmas package!! Now I am thinking of what could I give to you guys for Christmas or to all my viewers of my email??

This past week was really good and really boring haha. So Honduras had some elections and our mission president told us that we had to stay in our house on Sunday because supposedly here it gets crazy with voting for new leaders haha. To be honest nothing really happened to us or anything like that. But there were tons of people everywhere wearing red or blue!! Red is the crazy party and blue is a little more calm. I was super bored but I did study some awesome things about the Atonement and how Jesus Christ was completely alone when he had to suffer for the sins of world. There is a talk or mormon message that Elder Holland gives about that experience its super good. Since I have started the mission I keep reading more and more things about the gospel and I am always lead back to read about the Savior. I have come to know Jesus Christ a little more now and how to be like Him in all aspects of His life. At times its so hard to be like the Savior because I am such a big sinner but through Him I can be saved and never have to suffer spiritual or physical death. So I was talking about this with my companion Elder Jensen and Denis and we read in Jesus The Christ about what happened. Then there is explains why Jesus Christ had to be alone to take such a huge task even without the Father. There are multiple references of this but one that is very specific and its in Matthew 10:38. Jesus Christ had to make a choice of willingness to do the Fathers will. He had to deny Himself completely to show His love for us and our Father in Heaven. Now my thoughts are am I denying myself to do the will of the Father?? Or am I just selfish and only thinking about myself?? Now I challenge all to apply this to them. Another thought came to my mind when we had one Christmas back when we lived in Utah, and Mom and Dad had us all run downstairs excited to open our presents on Christmas morning. We get down and in the living room we see a light shined upon a beautiful picture of the our Lord Jesus Christ and nothing else. I remember we all paused and didnt say a word for about a good 3 minutes and the tears come out of course. What an awesome Christmas to remember!!!! Now the Christmas time has come and now we have to think now in why we do celebrate this majestic holiday. Now my thoughts went to agency and how much power we actually have to choose. Christ could have not gone through the Garden of Getsemani? Eve could have not partaken of the fruit? I could have not gone a mission? I know that we have so much power to choose our lives and we usually have two choices 2 Nephi 2:27. Do I want to do Gods will or Satans will?? If you think about it everyone makes choices everyday and usually that choices changes our acts and atittudes for the rest of your life. For example Eduardo the young man that we baptized, he made the choice to be baptized and now he will go on a mission and baptize more people and the people that are around him. What a difference that makes!!!!! That is one of the greatest gifts God has given us!! Sorry that is sounds preachy but it was something awesome that i learned. We received a reference for a family and they are super awesome!! We have been helping them with there English and the missionaries have passed by that house a ton!! They have some doubts of being baptized again and we are going to explain that to all of them this week. They seriously need to be members because they are look like a mormon family seriously!! So we are super pumped to talk to them about that. Also with temple coming up we can get them excited to go to the temple as a family!! Well thats about it for investigators then changes past and I stayed here as a ZL in Danli so I am pretty sure that I am going to finish my mission here. Very exciting feeling and sad feeling also because I love the mission so much!! But yeah thats all I have to report to you all. Thanks for everything and enjoy your thanksgiving tell hi to everyone and send me a picture of all of you guys. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Love,
Elder Hall

Week 82 Danli

It seemed a little odd to talk with him in more detail about when he gets home but I think that is the next step.  The Holiday season is coming and we will surely miss him but that also means the end of his mission is near.

Dear Family,
How is it going? The wooden carvings of yours is 140 dollars  and mine that I want is 180 dollars. Does Emily and Kyle want one or no?? If they are let me know the date of their sealing. Also thank you for the help on the college application and I will talk to my mission president about the Ecclesiatical interview. Also I cant believe how fast time just flies here and how much time I have left in my mission. I am not going to lie its hard to focus sometimes but I just have to keep my mind occupied and how are you guys holding up?? At this time of the year its tough but who knows whats going to happen. I know there are changes this week and I am not sure if President will be put me to train or keep me at ZL. What ever happens I will be fine I just know that my time is running short here. I am so excited to hear that Travis is going on a mission though!!! Its so worth it and what about Zac and Dallin?? I also have some news haha. Madie Rowan do you remember her?? She sent me a letter and guess what it was a wedding invitation!! She got married on the 3 of this month. Crazy huh?! I am happy for her though!! It freaks me out that all of this is happening so fast but you know I will be next. But I just want to focus on whats infront of me right now. In the Christmas package I would like Reeses, Milky Way, Christmas PJ´s for me and my companion for sure. Umm to help a family out here I was thinking of a certain family that we are teaching. They are struggling really badly with money and I figured they would need clothes or I dont know what do you think we can give to them?? This family is needing a divorce in order to be married with the current wife and she wants to be baptized and all but the divorce is the hardest part. They are a super nice family and love to have us over. But I am not sure what to give them you know?? As for Eduardo he was baptized!!!!!!  It was an absolute miracle because we needed to ask permission from his mom to be baptized and when Eduardo tried to talk to her she got mad and didnt want to hear it. So on friday we went to his house and we only talked to the father in law but he gave us permission and sooo HE WAS BAPTIZED!!!!!! It was a miracle but it was awesome. Everyone was happy and its good to actually see a child of God be baptized and literally changing his lifestyle to be better. Eduardo actually said that he feels a complete change in himself and its awesome because he was convertered the right way. It brings me peace and joy to my soul. We are teaching some new investigators to and we keep finding young people to teach more than families but we will baptize a family soon!! The excommunicated member is coming back to the path and will be a member in March if everything goes well. I love him a ton haha. He knows a lot!!! As for coming home to Washington or Arizona?? What do you think? I am not entirely sure though because I figured I had to get the Jeep from AZ and then drive up with it to Washington but what do you think I should do? For me either way if you are making it sound like I will go to Arizona and Washington anyway so I dont know though. Well for the package maybe some cool music or another book I can read?? Maybe photos of course and maybe a tape recorder?? lol or just surprise me!! Anyways thanks for everything and love you all soo much!

Week 81 Danli

More questions about home and school but he is still amazingly engaged and applying what he is learning to every day challenges we face.  I think our family has been so fortunate and blessed by what he is doing but it doesn't come to any of us without trials as well.  As he shares.....we walk by faith and not by sight.

ps who is Nefi???

Querida Familia,
Well for my grades all that I remember is I had straight A´s and 1 B in Biology. Thats all that I remember and give me my stuff to look on my EA account because I think there is a weird way to look at grades. Also mom I need to know the date that you guys were sealed in the temple!!??? Its for the wood thing. Also does Emily and Kyle want one?? Can I get one?? Also awesome story about Josey and vball haha. God works in mysterious ways but its like the scripture dad shared 1 Cor. 5:7. I love talking about faith and how putting our full trust in God. We had a zone workshop on Thursday after the meeting in Tegus with President on wednesday. We as a zl´s always give a class to the zone and give the message of President on what he talked about and whatever we feel that we need to talk to them about to animate them more. So a excommunicated member that we talk to all the time named Denis, still trying to come back to full membership, gave us some cool relations in the scriptures on how we need to be better and how we can do it with all of our faith and trust in the Lord. He gave the example of Nefi on how he received the plates of brass from Laban. So how many times did Nefi had to try to finally obtain the plates?? he tried three times and on the third try he had success but why?? If you read chapters 1 Nefi 3 - 1 Nefi 4 it explains that the first two times he failed because he was trying to obtaint he plates by the arm of the flesh or mans plan. Then the third time Nefi goes without even knowing how to do it but was guided by the spirit on how to obtain those plates. Because the angel that showed up when Nefi and his brother were being smitten said to them after Laman and Lemuel hitting them. He said go unto Jerusalem again and the Lord will give Laban to them. Crazy huh?! So Nefi goes back and follows the spirit of the Lord or follows the plan of God and was success. Pure faith!!!! I explained that to the missionaries that sometimes we work with the arm of the flesh or the plan of man, but if we kneel and ask God for help he will guide us to what we need to do in our areas. Do not fear to fail because everyone is going to fail at some point in there life but we can lift up ourselves and fix what we are doing by asking the Lord for forgiveness and ask Him what does he desire for us to do. Something cool I learned!! I love the scriptures and how we can apply them to ourselves nowadays. This week we taught a black young man who is getting baptized this week or next week. He is super pilas to teach and wants to change his life. We are hoping that he goes on a mission because he talks about it. So we will see what happens his name is Eduardo. Then we found some new investigators to teach with some other young folk and possibly a new family to teach. I really want to teach progreessing family so I just want to look for new families. But I love being out here and I dont like thinking about how much time that I have left because it makes me sad and nervous. So I just need to focus on what I have left and do everything that I can to help others come unto Christ. But thats all that I have to say and I love you all!!! I hope you have an awesome week. Tell dad Happy Birthday!!! He is awesome!! talk to you all later!!

Tu Hijo,
Elder Hall
P.S.- For gifts for a family let me keep looking because I think the ward wants to do something for the people that are poor here and they might need some help. But let me get back to you on that one.

Week 80 Danli

Sounds like he has met some very nice people in Danli.  He sent a few pictures of what these wood carvings look like and they are very nice.  Not sure how they would get home to us though.........we'll see as it gets closer.  I truly think he enjoys his time and has mixed feelings about what coming home will mean to him.

Hola Querida Familia,
As for the wooded temple things they are like 150. So they will have your guys name, date of sealing, Holiness to the Lord, and the picture of the Salt Lake Temple. You guys were married in the Salt Lake temple right?? Also Emily and Kyle want one?? Then I was thinking about getting one that is super sweet which is like 200. The size of them are like kind of the size of the Mesa Temple picture that we have or bigger. Also I will look into the applications for my GPA and stuff. I am trying to remember the username and password. But I am excited to apply for college again. What is Chelsey going to study?? I am sad that I didnt get to see her play at all!! But I am sure I will want to coach or something when I am married as a side job or something. Maybe my future and wife can do that later on in our lives. I willl think of ideas for that gift thing for Santa and also the package. I still cant believe how fast time is flying by right now!!!! Its absolutely incredible and I am trying to enjoy every moment that I can.

Recently I have been talking to this excommunicated member that is super awesome is coming back into full membership this March and he gives us some advice and counsel on how to become better missionaries. He is so cool, he is the guy that carves the wood stuff his name is Denis. He is one of my favorite members to talk to because he knows so much of the doctrine and was a big leader in the church until he fell hard in a transgression but now he is repenting and doing a lot better. I just love talking to him because he knows so much and even though he doesnt have the Holy Ghost with him he still has a light of Christ which is super cool. That he still wants to come back. Investigators that we are teaching are Eduardo a young man that is seventeen and just is soo ready to be baptized. He is super smart and wants to become a member and then go on a mission so we are hoping to baptize him in November. Also another family that we could baptize also  at the end of the November. The wifes name is Norma and the husband Alfonso. Norma wants to go to church but the husband we are not sure because we havent met him yet. We still continue to keep looking and I feel like we can do more and I need to do more so I am going to keep looking for more. At times I feel like I stilll have a lot to learn still in my mission and after because everything is going by soo fast. I still dont have any regrets in my mission but I still want to keep working until I am officially done. I am going to be super sad leaving this place!! As the zone is doing okay not the best we didnt do to well as a zone. I figure that the things that we are still doing in the zone are not working so I want to try something more different now because I am not seeing any success in what we are doing. I feel like we need to use members more to help us out in the work and also for the temple opening so we can get the work of the Lord going. The stake is really down and they dont seem to have the ganas to work with us and help us out because using our own efforts doesnt work all of the time. So we are going to be meeting with the ward leaders more and the stake president so we can be on the same page. I figure this willl help the work of the Lord and the animo of the members. At times i just feel tired and exhausted dealing with missionaries but something keeps me going because I have to do it because I need to do it. I just got to keep pushing on until I cant no more. This week will be good because we have a meeting with President again with the ZLs. I am excited to see what he is going to talk about. Then next week is Zone Conference for the mission so we will see what President says to us. Well I have nothing else to say and thanks for your letters and love. I really do appreciate it. I love you all and I hope that all goes well for you all. Take care.

Week 79 Danli

Still in Danli and enjoying it.  We are finally seeing a few mentions of life at home.  School will be something he needs to plan for now but he is very open to Utah and either school.

Hey Family,
Well I could do that at the BYU extension in Salt Lake. I could live you in Utah again for a year and get my residency done and taken care of. I heard its a nice school and a ton cheaper. So I would be fine with that and applying for both schools BYU and UofU. I would love to save a lot of money for sure. By all other means I will probably be around all of my mission friends in Salt Lake because thats where I know a ton of exmissionaries are heading towards. I feel good about anything I just feel like medical school would be a good option for me. I figured my first four years of college are just general studies so I dont care where I go to be honest haha. But thanks a ton for the help and ideas. I do have a lot of time to think things through. I am excited to see the weather change in Washington. Anyways I am excited to see all of you guys again haha. To see how grown up everyone is. I am happy to see that Josey is doing well in Volleyball and killing it. I miss playing vball a ton. Oh yeah I had a question about tithing, so our mission president talked to us about tithing and how we need to pay tithing if we are receiving any kind of income we need to pay tithing. The money the mission gives us we dont pay tithing but the money we receive from your parents or family, that we need to pay a tithe. But do I pay that because you told me that I dont need to pay that because you guys already pay tithing for that. So I am not sure if I need to or not. My mission president says yes but I am not entirely sure though. Let me know what you think?? Also of the wood work of that guy that I sent you guys the message of. What do you think do you want some or not?? Let me know please.

Well as for the week we found some positive investigators in Aruali and Cepudo. They are little villages that we have to ride our bikes too. We found a golden lady named Merlida who wants to learn more about our church and we just need to talk to her husband about it too. Then another we found was a lady named Dalila who is single and lives with her daughter. We helped her with english homework and made her promise to come to church with us for the next two sundays. So we are hoping she comes. We also received a ton of references from members to find and teach. Our plan is to have family home evening with all these people at the bishops house and have a lesson with all of them. So we are hoping to find some new investigators this way. We are pretty animated to have members help us and teach some new people. We also found a new family the husband is a member but the wife is not. She wants to get baptized but the husband has to get divorced first so we are going to see what happens with them this week. They are the family Arguijo. My companion is super funny and loves to be active and animated. He makes me laugh a ton. We also took out three partidas from a Teupasenti. That was a far away city from Danli but we saw some amazing scenery though. Anyways that was our week. Thanks for the help and support love you all a ton and I hope to talk to you guys soon. I cant believe how fast time flies here. Later!!

Week 78 Danli

Another week in his new area of Danli.  He seems to really like the area and as I ask around it is a pretty spot for the missionaries

Hey Family,
Awesome job on your talks and why do you guys mention me a lot haha. I know I am part of the family but your making me nervous now coming home to meet some new girls there. I am actually scared to come home to be perfectly honest. I feel that way because I am too use to the mission life and I love being here. Its a bitter sweet feeling you know?? I dont want to say bye to Honduras because its part of my life and I love the people here. Anyways I am glad the rainy season has begun because its starting to rain here to about every nighttime it begins to rain. Danli is getting really cold now but I like the cold! I am soooo excited that Emily is pregnant again!!!! I am excited to see the new baby come!! Also thanks for the compliments just to let you know mom and dad you guys raised a righteous generation with us so I can say we are starting off pretty well as a family. I dont want to sound prideful of our family but we are very blessed and I personally could not have made it through high school life without you guys. So thank you awesome parents!!! How do you know that the laurels are excited to meet me?? I dont even though them at all haha. Well I guess I will have some dates coming up after my mission. You should have the Bishops daughter send me a letter and a pic or should I just wait till I get home??. Hopefully I wont be to weird after I come back!! Is chelsey getting pretty serious with this kid?? I have to see pictures of him and of the Washington house??

Anyways this week we worked a little bit in the area and found a new family and new investigators. The members in the ward are pretty chill and the Bishop is super pilas. He is an ex missionary and loves to help out the missionaries a ton. Also Elder Jensen is from Salt Lake valley area but he said he has some family that live in the Utah valley area. But he doesnt know where they live exactly also there is an elder in my zone with the last name Jones. He is super cool he is from Highland. So not sure if you know any Jones out there. Anyways we met this one lady that lives in a little pueblo called Aroli. Its far so we take bikes out there and this lady is named Jaqueline and she is a single mom with 5 kids. So we are going to see how they progress this week. Also we found a really young family contacting another part of our area called Gracias a Dios. The family Gonzalez is there name. This week we are going to be busy with zone stuff and with our area also!! I hoping we get to work in our area more because we need to find new investigators. Anyways we also had interviews with President Hernandez our mission president. It was good he gave me a temple interview because mine expired this month, so I am ready for the temple when I come back!! I asked Pre. Hernandez if I was going to end as a ZL and he said that he doesnt want missionaries ending as ZLs anymore because he wants them to train there last two changes soo I willl if I get changed again or stay. I want to train and I want to stay but whatever he says I will follow because his word is Gods word. Anyways nothing else has really happened so this week went pretty fast. I actually got to see Lauras baptism because I had permission to go and see it she was happy that I was there though. Makes me happy that she finally made it though to her baptism. Now she is waiting for that temple covenant. Well we will see how this week will go for us and I hope your week goes well also. I love you all and tell Emily congrats!! Also tell Chelsey be careful!!  Love you all.

Week 77 Danli

Well, after many months in Choluteca he has been transfered to a city named Danli.  He is confident this will be his last area but he is very excited to be there.  From the Map it looks like it is about 2 hours East of Tegucigalpa and from what he describes it is a very pretty place to be.  Chases Grandpa looked up some details about the town and shared that the reason it is so desirable is that there is a Pizza Hut!  We hope this is a great close to his mission.

Hey Family,
Well I did get changes to Danli!! I seriously wanted to come to this zone because its super pretty and every missionary wants to go there. I am so pumped to be here and I am also with a gringo Elder Jensen. He is so tight and I am hoping he stays with me until Christmas. Gringo christmas!! I am so pumped because our Bishop is ready to work and baptize people and it should be way fun for us. I am so excited to be here in my last area. I kind of wanted to train but I feel like President wants me to help this zone because they havent had much success. So I am going to try and help out with that!! Elder Jensen is from Utah and really chill. I am so excited to be here and the zone seems to be a really good zone but they are kind of not doing anything in there areas. I am not sure why but we are going ot excite the whole zone to work super hard and keep going forward. This past week we didnt really do anything because we had changes and I said bye to some of the members from my last area. It was sad to say bye and especially say bye to investigators. But I had to move on  you know to my last area. We had changes and getting stuff for the zone so they are good for the change. Also we had ZL Consejo with president which was super good and then General Conference was amazing!!! I love Elder Hollands talk and Elder Bednars. Priesthood session I loved Elder Uchtdorf talk!!

I am pretty pumped to help out some new Elders and a new zone. My companion seems pretty excited because his last companion wasnt a very good missionary and he just wants to go home. So I have to rise up another zone to get back to the basics and start working hard. OH YEAH!! At changes when I arrived I saw Christian Smith!!! He is the kid I played club volleyball with who was from Williams Field!! It was a big surprise that he came to this mission because I didnt know at all that he left on a mission!! I was soo excited to see him again. He was the kid that we always did carpools to vball tournaments!!! I am so happy that he came to this mission though!! I forgot to take a picture with him but it was an amazing surprise! But yeah this week we are going ot work super hard!!  Yes I am still a ZL and i think I will  end as one. Anyways really exciting week and I cant wait till I write you till next week. Love you all a ton and I hope you have a safe 5k fun. Well love you all.

Week 76 Choluteca

Chase was telling us about a big day of baptisms for the area of his mission.  Turned out that there was 53 baptisms between the three zones on the same day.  The pictures he sent from the meeting were very humbling.

Dear Family,
Well first my zone didnt have 53 baptisms between three zones we had that many. As for our own zone we had for the month 37 and 5 families it was a pretty big month!! Thanks for helping me stay focused on the mission because sometimes its hard especially with little time left. But yes I am excited to come home but its going to be really hard to leave a part of my life here. I have met so many awesome people here. It scares me to think about the end but I know its part of life and I can progress even more after the mission. I miss Navy so much and she can walk and talk which she wasnt doing before I left. Also my last area will be interesting because I never thought I would be in this position. But I will keep working hard till the end. I am just curious what we are going to do when I get back but I will worry about that later. Also what about my Utah application? I am excited to watch conference this weekend because its going to be sweet!! Also its my last conference in the mission which is weird but its going to be memorable to me my last 3 changes in the mission. But yeah thats life you know.

Well for this week we almost had a family baptized but she wanted her family to support her when she gets baptized which is understandable. Her name is Laura and her husband is a member. She is super pilas to get baptized but she will be baptized after conference weekend so yeah I will be happy when she gets baptized. The only bummer is I wont be able to see her baptized but the fact that she is getting baptized will make me happy. Also Ruben and Belgica are progressing pretty well we just need to help them make the decision to get married. Also we are going to baptized Mirian who is the daughter of Chayo. We are excited for her baptism because she didnt want to listen to us at first but now she went to church and she wants to get baptized. It´s crazy how people are just ready to make covenants with God. But yes I feel like I have changes this week and I do want to leave but I dont because I am going to miss all of my converts and the members.  But I eventually have to leave and I will tear it up in my last area. I want to train my last few months just to help me keep working and teach a new missionary how to work hard. Thats what I want to do but if it doesnt happen I will keep fighting through the mission and finish well. Anyways I am just thankful to be here and change peoples lifes. Thanks for your love and support and I hope you all have a good week and conference weekend. Thanks again and i will write you next week.

Week 75 Choluteca

Another week

Hey Family,
How is the best family in the whole wide world!! I hope well and I am happy to see the family is busy like usual lol. Also I want to see a picture of this Jake kid because he needs to look good in the family because we cant have any ugly people in the family hahah jkjk. I am sure he is cool kid and I got the package you sent thanks again and what about the pictures of the house?? Is it a big house or what? Also tell dad just to start looking at new boats and send me pictures of his ideas and the Dicksons want to buy our boat?? That would be super sweet for them. Also I would love to see the California buddies I just received DearElders from Taylor and I will be sending a letter back soon.

Well this week we had a super busy week. Tuesday we worked in our area and had a good lesson with Belgica and Ruben. They still are deciding if they want to get married or not but we keep working with them to make that decision. Wednesday I had to go to Tegus to take an Elder to the hospital because he might have another rock in his kidneys and that took the whole day. Thursday District meeting and divisions with Triunfo. Another area that is super far away from Choluteca. I had to go do interviews and bring a family to Choluteca to get married. That was an absolute miracle to get them to Choluteca because the wife was being a child and not wanting to go and complaining but I got her to Choluteca with the Lords help!! That family got married luckily. Friday is when we came to Choluteca for the marriage and do more interviews and get things ready for the huge baptismal service that we did with three zones. So three zones, including our zone too, put a date for all of us to baptize and take a big picture of all of our work. We reached 52 baptisms this past saturday. This is between three zones and it was sooo big. Saturday we did the service in the morning and over 230 people showed up at the baptismal service. This is including investigators, members, missionaries, and people getting baptized!! It was a huge miracle that we reached that many baptisms in one weekend. The Lord seriously helped us baptize so many at once. I couldnt believe how we did it but we managed to do it. Anyways our zone put up a good number for the month and we still have more this next week. My zone works so hard, we dont do anything we just help them with what they need to baptize people. Unfortunately we didnt have baptisms this last week but we could this week because we received a reference from a member. He wants us to baptize his wife and I thought she was member because she has been to church a ton. So we are going to find out what she says this week. They both know english because they have lived in the states for like 12 years so they are cool to talk to. We also had a less active girl bring her friend to church, which is the daughter of Chayo that we baptized about two weeks ago. That was a miracle that she came because when we talked to her at first she didnt want to go to church at all. But she came and I think she liked it. But it was just a crazy weekend for us haha. Then this upcoming weekend we have more baptisms that the zone has to baptize, so that will be good!! As for changes they will be next week and I think I will be changed out but who knows what they will do with me. But I almost have 4 months left which just shocks me completely!! What are we going to do when I come back?? I am sure we will be boating that first weekend haha. Well Thanks for the package and the love. You are guys are awesome. Talk to you soon!!

Sinceramente,

Week 74 Choluteca

When you ask for advice you get it.......with our move to WA Chase had some suggestions for what should be addressed.

Hey Family,
Well parents I would say just talk about doing the normal things in the house. Family prayers, scripture reading, nothing in the house that would draw the spirit away. For example pictures, music, bad movies,or anything that would be in that category. I always loved coming home because I felt safe and protected. Also dedicating your house with a prayer as a family. Even though it was hard to listen to scriptures and have family prayer in the morning or night, it made the difference in my life. The home is a refuge from the world and all the evil that you are confronted with. Mom do you remember I went to a high school party for someones birthday and I came back early alone because Ashley did something I didnt like?? We had a good talk in the living room and you congratulated me for leaving because I lost the spirit fast at the party to the point where I felt sick and threw up. Then as soon as I left and came home I felt an overwhelming peace and the spirit of the Lord was present again. I thought about that experience the other day it was something I didnt understand at first but now I do. Thats what I thought of the home a place of refuge or holy place. But its only if you do the small and simple things to keep the spirit present. Also thanks for the prayers and help while you were thinking of me in the temple. It always gives me a surety that you guys love me so much. I also cant wait till I get home to go to the temple its going to be so sweet!! Tell Josey congrats and keep playing hard, also tell Chelsey to be careful with the Jeep because I dont want to be fixing anything up when I come home haha. No worries about Chelsey she will be fine!!

Well this week we were busy with lots of things to do. We had to go to Tegus for residency stuff and we got stuck there for two days because my comps residency had a problem. Then after we had a good district meeting and we did divisiones with a golden family that we found. Their names are Wilmur and Belkis and Wilmur is a member, but Belkis no. She told us that she wants to be baptized and married!! No doubts or problems and it was really weird to find someone who just wants to accept the gospel like that. So we will see what happens this week with them. Then Ruben and Belgica have problems now because they fight over the littlest thing and they want to separate. We talked to Belgica and she is super nice and wants to get baptized and married but her husband no. She wants it so bad but he doesnt. So we have to find a way to talk to them both and figure out if they want to do this for real or not. Then the next day we helped out with a marriage in Las Uvas de Linaca which is a small village that is way far out there. The Elders there married and baptized a guy who couldnt walk and so we had permission to baptize him. Other than that it was just a tiring week and we didnt find any new investigators at all. But we will this week and we have a huge activity this saturday. We are having a big baptism day with three zones and from what we are looking at there are possibly 55  to 60 baptisms going in the water at the same time. So it should be a big event for us. I am excited for that photo to show you guys. Everything is going well though here and I feel good. I am not going to lie sometimes its hard to focus when I have almost 4 months left in my mission. I still cant believe that time flies like crazy!! Anyways I will finish strong and thanks for everything. You guys are awesome and make the world to me. I love you all!!! Well thanks for everything and talk to you guys later!!

Week 73 Choluteca

All up to date on posts again.  We are into September now and looking at the tail end of his mission.  What a wonderful experience for him and for us.  It doesn't get easier to have him gone and I know that it doesn't get easier for him either.  We are amazed at how much growth he has had and look forward to his return......but it is still 4 months out.  He is watching out for his little sister again and I can actually get him to talk about BYU football.  He is talking about going into the medical field when he returns.  I would love it if he actually did but I thought that is where I would end up.......but my path ended up different.

Hey Family,
How is my favorite family doing??? Its sunny in Washington really? I thought it was just rain and clouds all of the time. I figured that mom and dad would get youth callings haha. Especially dad as a priest quorum advisor!! Also dad you didnt answer my question about Carrollen, Texas if you served near that city or not?? I have always wondered how the states missions would be because we baptized so much in our mission or in central america for the most part. Its like the prophecy of the Lamanites coming back to the truth of the gospel. Chelsey you have to wait till I get home to get married. You should get married the weekend I get back so we all can go to the temple together!!! That would super awesome to see, except for Josey, sorry!! Also I am sure that I will take my trip to Washington and be there for a while. I would think you guys are really close to the sea because the name sounds like your really close. I also love the sounds of the mountains at night but isnt it really cold in Washington?? I am shocked that Utah lost to Utah State wow!! It will be interesting to see what happens for the rivalry game. I remember when we watched when we were in Utah, with John Beck and Jonny Hairline as the stars. We won in the last couple seconds of the game. Epic win!!! As for college I figure I need to start applying because they said deadlines or applying starts December 1st. I cant remember. Also the transcripts and stuff should be taken out. My only worry though for transferring my transcripts is it says at the UofU excepts transfer students who have 30 or more credits in order to be a transfer student. But I talked to a missionary about it and he said you can call the school and see if  there is an exception for the transfer?? I am not sure though. I really do want to go to Utah though. I figure that would be the best school for my interests. I feel good about studying medical stuff though and yes its going to take 10 to 12 years of hard work studying. I know I can do it though.

Well as for this past week we worked pretty hard. We had the baptism of Chayo and it was very good and she is really happy!! I know she will be a super strong member forever. Then we found 4 new families to work with and see if they want to be married or baptized!! We have one family that wants to be baptized but they are more or less for the wedding. Their names are Belgica and Ruben. They have two little cute twin girls. So we are trying to help them love each other enough to trust each other and get married. We want them to be baptized and married by the end of the month. Then another family is Fredy and Gloria who we contacted when it was pouring rain everywhere. We were soaked but we taught a super good lesson with them. Fredy had some super good questions and said he would like to be baptized and married. We just need them to go to church and teach them more. Then another family is Pablo and Emma. They are an older couple and love to just talk and talk forever, but they always welcome us to teach them and their house is super tiny. When it rains the house fills with water but they are trying to fix it. We were teaching yesterday about marriage and Pablo wants to be married and baptized, but Emma is afraid to do it. We explained to her not to worry and towards the end she was more relaxed about the idea. Yes I know we have some possiblities to baptized these families and I hope all of them are willing to take that big step to make covenants and become a family. Its just a huge blessing to teach the gospel to each of them and tell them that this is true. Makes me excited to get married now!! but I dont think I am looking to get married fast. Anyways thats all I have for now and I appreciate the love and support. Tell chelsey I am sending her a letter for her birthday. Also I put a photo and bracelet in there. Thanks again!! Did you send that package??

Week 72 Choluteca

Still Choluteca.  Amazing that the work rolls forward at such a pace.  i couldn't imagine 80 baptism.  What a great thing that this is possible in one zone in one month.  We made a trip to Vancouver BC over the long weekend for Labor Day.  Fun for us and i am sure hard for him but he certainly doesn't show it.

Hey Family,

I am waiting for that day to go with you guys to Canada. I have a friend from Canada he is serving here in the same mission. He is super cool and funny but he is from Quebec. No worries I hit 19 months on Sunday and so I have like five months left. I feel like my mission is flying really fast right now. I am happy that dad found a way to put the boat in the garage. I am sure we will be going on lots of boating trips when I get back. Also mom you already have a calling now to work in the ward and what about dad? I am glad to hear that the whole family is fine and safe. In my package I would like sour patch kids, kit kats, reeses, skittles, a soft lense clothe, and contact solution. Then any kind of Halloween treat that you can think of. Also definitely the pictures of the new house. I loved making those road trips to Utah or Las Vegas. They were the funnest. Or when we went up to Utah when all the roads were covered in snow. That was fun. Also are there any cute girls in the new ward??

This week we had one baptism with Glariseli and it went really well. There was her family and a bunch of people supporting her. She is such a funny girl. It was hard teaching her but she understood everything. But it was a special moment for her and her family to finally all be members of the church. The parents were very happy. Then we will possibly have Chayo this saturday. She is sooo ready to be baptized and become a member. I love that she is soo sensitive to the spirit and tells us that she feels good when we come over and talk with her. That makes me feel like we are doing our job as missionaries. The zone is doing well we had 7 confirmations and a family baptized. It makes me feel good that the zone is working hard and finding new investigators. We are working to baptize lots of people on the 22nd because we are having a huge baptism of three zones. Our goal as three zones is to have 80 baptisms all at once. So that will be huge and imagine having that picture with everyone in white. But we are finding and working hard. I dont even keep track of time anymore because everyday just flies by super fast. I am seriously going to miss my mission a ton and saying good bye to all of my mission buddies. I am sure I will hook up with them after the mission. Anyways not much else to say except I was looking at classes for college and what I really want to do and study. I feel really good about going to medical school and I know it will take a long time but I feel like I can do it. Anyways mom can you look up on the UofU site to see what I need to start doing for applying. Well thats all I can think of for now but thanks for everything. Also dad did you serve in a city in Texas called Carrollton??? Let me know if you know that city??

Elder Hall

Week 71 Choluteca

It is evident that as his friends come home to AZ that he misses them.  Amy received a surprise letter from someone who had served with Chase.  It was good to hear he is a good missionary in everyones eyes there.  Another tender mercy.

Dear Family,
I miss those two goonies sooo much! I would love to talk to them again but that day will come. I am glad that they are both doing well and moving on with their lives. I am hoping they get married pretty soon!! Also makes me happy that the Washington move is doing well and I am super happy that Zenger sent you a letter!! Was he trying to send a letter to me or to you guys???? So is Zenger working at a bank or something? I loved Zenger because we shared a ward together and he was always fun to be with. He is a very good kid and I would recommend Chelsey to him. He is such a chill guy and he knows the Christensen family!! I am happy that I have a room in Washington now haha. Well I want to report back to Arizona because thats where I left from and I want to return. Mostly for my friends to be there at my homecoming and do my Arizona visits before I go up to Utah and Washington. But we will see what happens.

Well my week was good and busy like always haha. I didnt have changes so this will be my 3rd change with Elder Flores and I will have 6 months in the area. But  I am excited to stay here and work in choluteca. I have grown to love Choluteca a lot. Plus I will have more than have of my mission in Choluteca. I like to serve in this area anyways. No matter what, my next area will be my last area to end my mission. Well President opened another area in our zone and we were busy with looking for a house for them and then we moved them into their new house. After that we found some new investigators we could baptize this month and a family possibly too. This family is an old couple and we are going to work with them this month. This weekend we will have two baptisms of a little girl from a member family named Glarisela. She has trouble with learning but her whole family are active members. But now she understands the teachings of the church. She is a little cute girl. Then Chayo will be baptizedthis Saturday also. She is the same woman who is pilas and believes that the church is true. So those will be really good baptisms. Then we received some references from a member with a young man named Angel. He seems like a possible baptism and then we found another family that we could baptize also. So we are looking pretty good on the finding haha. Its interesting when we are working hard and given opportunities to teach people this amazing gospel. We just have to be prepared for those opportunities otherwise God will not put them in our path. Well thats all that I have for now. Thanks for the letter and your good influences. Well until next week.

Elder Hall

Week 70 Choluteca

We met a brother in the ward in Washington that served in El Bosque 15 years ago.  That was a blessing as he shared much more about the mission with us.  He still remains in Choluteca and is wondering if a change is coming but we already know if will be another month there for him.

Dear Family,
I am happy that all of you guys made it safey to Washington. It sounds like you are going to have a good ward and awesome neighbors. Also seriously Brother Bird served in my mission!!! I have actually heard his name when I was in El Bosque. Some of the member mentioned his name. Also he served their 20 years ago!!?? Thats a long time. How old is he? What a small world seriously!!! I am glad that Chelsey is figuring things out now with her group of friends. Is the guys name Jake Greene? That name sounds familiar for some reason maybe through volleyball or something. thanks for the Jeep and why didnt you guys take it?? What is dad going to drive now since you left two cars down in Arizona?? Are you just going to drive the Ford and Jetta? Well thanks again and I love that jeep. Yeah Steven is DONE!!!! That freaks me out now and I cant wait to see them again. I am almost positive that he looks different too. Tell him he needs to email or something!!! Hey what does the new house look like??? I would love to see pictures. Thanks for the package and it was sooo awesome to see those photos. Also the photos of Taylor haha. I love all of the treats and the letters from the Family and the Docksdaters. My favorite letter is from Bishop Docksdater because he was blaming me for saying that he would be the next Bishop lol that gave me a good laugh.

Well this past week we were busy with divisiones and weddings for the zone. We had a solid 10 baptisms with 2 families this past week. I am soo happy for the zone and their success. As for Elder Flores and I baptized Maria and Karen. They are awesome converts because we didnt teach them for that long but we did challenge them and they accepted to be baptized. Maria was so ready because she knows that the Book of Mormon is true and wants to go to church. Karen is the daughter of Maria and she has trouble with learning but she had a desire to be baptized with her mom so she was baptized too. We still need to teach them more about the gospel even though they were baptized. They were just more prepared to make covenants with Heavenly Father. Changes are tomorrow and we will see if I leave or not. I am not really sure to be honest what will happen but I dont care where I am at because I know am serving the Lord where ever He needs me. I have two changes with Elder Flores but we will see what happens. I figure that my next area will be my last area of my whole mission. Which is weird to think of!! But I am staying focused and its hard at times but I keep at it. Well thats about it and I wrote today because I went to tegus with some missionaries to get our residencies in the process. So we were doing that all day!! But thanks for the letters and the love. Also the package. I love you guys!!

Week 69 Still in Choluteca

HIs letters are not getting any longer.....he still enjoys Choluteca and we have learned that it is really the hottest area in the mission.  Much more so than Tegu or El Bosque.  The hardest part of this writing is that we relocated the family to Washington.  Work necessitated the move as AZ meant no job but it has to be hard on Chase.  He has been very positive about the move but wants to return to AZ.

Hey Family,
I cannot believe that Jeff is finally home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss that guy so much and tell him I love him so much. I wish I could see him right now but in 6 months I will be there. Also steven gets home and awwwww!! I am so shocked on how time just flies like a dream. thats cute that my sisters are wearing my clothes haha. I am glad you kept them all and I hope you arrived in Washington safely and are getting used to the new scenery. I am sad that you moved because Arizona is sooo awesome and I would never trade anything in the world for that experience I had. Yes I am sad also that we are seperating again and it was nice to have everyone in the same state but we all know what we have to do. All we can do is move and keep going. The Lord will be there always!! I feel so much happiness and joy for my really good friends right now because they did it!!! They finished their time and served the whole two years!! Now I am getting a little anxious to get home to see them once again. I am sure we will have a fun time getting back together again and tell about our stories and experiences. I am actually excited to see Jeff since Chelsey says he looks older and even more pumped to see Steven also!! I know my time will come I just have to be patient and finish strong. In the end it will all be worth it. Well it will come one day and I will miss the mission sooo much!! But I am going forward with the work. This week was a little bit better in a busy kind of way haha. First we had a missionary lose his mini missionary. A mini missionary is just a normal young kid that has 18 years of age that helps us out when we dont have enough missionaries to have companions. He stayed with us a couple of days then received a normal missionary. I was on divisiones 3 days in a row trying to get to know investigators and animate them to be baptized. Because our zone is a little disanimated to work because their investigators are having problems. So I tried to animate everyone and help them out. Then Friday we had ward activity and it was really good. A lot of people showed up and some investigators did too. We did a talent night show and everyone enjoyed. Then Saturday we worked in our area and put some fechas for this saturday. We are going to try and animate them to be baptized. They are that same lady Chayo, she is sooo pilas. Then some new ones. Maria and her daughter Karen. They have actually gone to church and read the book of Mormon. They just need to make the decision to be baptized for sure. That Saturday we challenged them and they accepted. So we will see what happens this week. Well we are still working at and gees I cant believe that Jeff is home!!! Next steven and now they are waiting for me now. Well love you guys soo much and send me some pictures of the new house!!! I would love to see them. Talk to you guys later!!

Love,

Week 68 Choluteca

We are getting closer to our move....after a short trip.  Enjoy.

Dear Family,
WOW I am super jealous and I would absolutely love!! To go on a cruise to anywhere! I am miss my aunts and uncles they were always really funny to talk too. I would love to see all of my relatives after the mission just because they are all awesome. When is the next family reunion?? Well I am down with Hawaii or a cruise. I would love to be with you guys anyways. Also what my stuff in my room and clothes are you giving those away?? Yeah thats hard to say bye to everyone and move from an awesome experience in my life. Really it impacted me sooo much. I never ever forget those memories. How are my old buddies from the ward?? Jeff and Steven are pretty much done now!! Well I am really happy that you are all fine. Also that part you quoted about my blessing from being set apart. Very good part of my blessing. Thanks for the nice comments and to be honest Mom and Dad always make me cry with the things you say to me. It just shows how much we love each other huh?!? I love you guys.

Well this week was a little busy with our meeting with President Hernandez and getting weddings ready and going to far away pueblos for partidas. First the meeting with President was awesome and I love President and Hermana Hernandez. I wish I was in there presence more but we have to do our work everyday. They are so nice and really know how to help us out in our zone. It was a very good counsel with us and I loved it because he talked about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and how we can use it in our lives and in the mission. I really do like the scripture that I found in 2 Nephi 25:23. Its a very powerful scripture and I love how I can apply it to myself and others. Really its an amazing subject the Atonement. Everything is about the Atonement in our life and how we can use it. Well I love President and his wife. Weddings and partidas we had to go to a far away place to get a couple of marriage papers for some missionary of a different mission. We did that on Friday, we traveled 8 hours that day which sucked but what can you do. Then as for our work we didnt do much at all and I feel like crap for my dats and we really need to improve our work in the area. We did have a cool experience with a lady named Chayo and she is super pilas. We explained the Book of Mormon to her and she told us when we took it our she knew that the Book of Mormon is true without even reading it and she had a big desire to read it. She is sooo  awesome to teach. She is just a single lady that doesnt have much is really interested in learning about the Gospel. I love meeting people like that. Anyways really cool and different week. Also thanks for everything and love you all soo soo much. I hope to hear from you all soon!!

God Speed,
Elder Hall
