Week 27 La Colonia Kenedy

Another week passed by and he is still challenged but upbeat and learning from his new companion.  The most amazing thing happened for Amy and I this week.  The Valle family from the area that Chase is in were visiting here in Phoenix and Amy and I were able to spend an hour with them just talking about Chase and all that he is doing in Tegucigalpa.  It brought great relief and also tears of joy to hear how he is doing.  He is a faithful Missionary and Son as evidenced by their  description of him.   As parents we have truly been blessed to be a part of his life and to have met such wonderful saints from a far away place.

Querido Familia,
yeah this past week was fast and slow at the same time. We had some days that were good and some not, but we work. Anyways we just have to get through this week and everything will be good. I am glad you are going to talk to some people that I know. They are an awesome family. Also send a couple garment shirts because some how I am missing two tops. They have some here but they dont have my size and type that I like. Well I am sorry to hear about dads work and how he laid off a bunch of workers. I have been praying for him to have comfort and peace. I know the Lord will provide the way for us to live. No matter where we live in Arizona or Washington. If you do move let me know and it will be weird coming home to a new ward in washington. But I dont know whats going to happen so I am not going to worry about it to much. I will pray for you all everyday. I am super happy Josey is playing sports and having fun. In Tegucigalpa its cold and a little rainy. Everyday its cloudy and cold. Everyone in Tegucigalpa is wearing jackets and hats lol. Sounds like Chelsey is enjoying her time dating everyone. I think I remember who Taft is. He seems like a good kid.
Well this week like I said fast and slow week for sure. We are getting along and he is teaching me a lot. He has taught me how to be happy even though the work is really hard right now. Also has taught me how to speak better spanish. He is not a bad missionary its just sometimes he wants to do things his own way, which is fine but now always right. I am just trying to be patient and enjoy being with him because it is his last few weeks as a missionary. I guess its hard to not focus on the work and only focus on my companion. Its a different way of  working I guess haha. Well we have contacted a lot and maybe found some people to teach and baptize in the month of November, and I have some ideas to try and find people through members. We will see how this week turns out and hopefully my companion can last for just a little bit longer. Anyways thanks for the love and support I really do appreciate it. Oh yeah so the ward had a baptism for an eight year old kid and we had to bring clothes for him to baptize. So it turned out that I had to baptize him for the ward which was fine. The water was super cold and it was cold outside also. So I enter and then the kid enters and is starts to chatter his teeth because he is not use to cold stuff like that. Anyways I said the prayer and I was going to dunk him but he didnt want to go under!! So I did the prayer again and I almost got him under, but his arm didnt go under because he was freaked out about going under water. So then the thrid time I did everything again and I used a little force to get him under and he didnt like it to much but I made sure he was completely under. It was a funny story for sure lol Well other than that I am good I am trying to keep focus and always make sure that I am happy and enjoying myself in the mission. No matter what the circumstances. I appreciate everything you all do and I pray for you all everyday! Love you all so much!!
Con Mucho Amor,
Elder Hall
