Week 41 El Bosque

New companion and a birthday. Almost exactly one year of his mission has passed now. The days are long but the months are fast! We are proud of his choices.

Dear Family,
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE LETTERS. I love all of you guys so much.
Also I cant believe that I have one year in the mission!!! Doesnt feel
like one year but it has been a good year. Well I am glad that you
were able to talk to Coach Anderson and tell him I said hi. Also tell
him I miss doing suicides. Well I am glad that Josey enjoys Vball and
likes the postition of Labero. There is a lot of responisibility in
this position.Tell her she needs to be a good defensive captain on the
team. Also love the fact that you guys are still doing family
scripture study and staying in touch even though we are really busy at
times.
Well I did receive a new companion and I am training again. So I am
hoping it will go better this change with my new companion. His name
is Elder Castro and has so a lot of animo to teach and preach the
people. He is from Guatemala. He is really prepared to teach and
preach. Make me feel bad because I wasnt to ready at first lol.
Anyways we are working it out and working hard. We found some new
investigators to teach that seem positive and we found a family!!
Their names are Elio and Estela. They are really humble and dont have
much. Elio just lost his job because he was threatened for his taxi.
He drives a taxi. It was sad to hear that he los this job like that
and it was a wonderful opportunity to share the gospel and how we can
be blessed from it. Its hard because this happened to them and we cant
really do much for them. We can only help spiritualy and emotionaly
and sometimes I want to help them with what I have. Well Esteven has
his baptism on the 11th of Feb. and Andres has his baptism for the
25th of Feb. Esteven is progressing well and likes what we teach and
knows its true. Then Andres has a smoking problem so we taught him the
word of wisdom and showed him that this commandment helps us in our
lives. He understood and has a desire to change his life around. He
said he has been smoking since he was 14 years old. Crazy!! The only
bummer with him is he needs to go to church more and show more members
to support him. It was a good week and I have a feeling its going to
be a really good change. Also the package came today and I love
everything in it. Some members actually invited us to come eat at
their house for my Birthday tomorrow and we will make a cake also!!!
It should be fun! Well thank you so much for all that you do and I
cant believe I have 20 years and I am just getting older and older.
Well I love all of you guys so much and hope you all have a fantastic
week.

Con Mucho Amor,
Elder Hall
