Good letter this past week and looking forward to a new one this week.
Hey Mom,
I am doing okay this week as far as health wise. Sounds like you guys are busy as always during the summer time. Well I figured you would be released as from Relief Society and have another calling again. You will do good with the Young Women. Yeah I remember Jaclyn Hardy, she was in my seminary class my senior year. She is soo funny! Thats sweet that Ashley´s cousin is coming. I will see if i get to see him or not at changes. I am pretty sure I am staying the same area and receiving a new companion. But no one ever knows what happens with changes. Yes that would be awesome for another package and yes those cookies would be amazing!! Well sounds like your week was awesome. How is Emily and Kyle doing with Navy? How is the weather in AZ?
Well this week we have been a little wet and sick. This past week has been storms in the afternoon and would rain forever. The streets here get soooo flooded. Especially in our area because we have dirt roads. We would walk through the rain and go teach people. We get sooo wet. This week Elder Thatcher got really sick with something and we had to stay in the house for a few hours. Also we did divisons with the ZL´s because we needed one of them to interview our investigators that got baptized on Saturday. We had two baptisms which was really awesome. Oh yeah! When I was on divisions with Elder Wedemeyer (ZL), Elder Thatcher forgot to give me the keys to our house and it was pouring rain too. So we had to walk over to the other Elders house to sleep there lol. We were soo wet. It was a fun experience though. Our baptisms were this one old guy that we received a reference from and an old lady who´s daughter and son are members. They are so awesome though.
The teaching for this week was good we have two families that we are teaching that are super positive. We hope to baptize them next month!! But Elder Thatcher will not be here for the baptisms because he will be home with his family. This is his last full week of doing the Lords work. I am sad but glad that he is progressing with his life. He is such an awesome missionary and loves the work. I am excited for my next companion hopefully he is Latin and I can learn spanish really well. We will see what happens. Also we hope to have baptisms this next Saturday but we are not sure yet. Anyways it was a good week. We have just been wet and sick.
A really cool experience we had with one of our converts was this one man that was baptized with his wife. His name is Saturnino and we were visiting him and checking up on their prayers and reading. Then he was talking to us and started to cry because he was sooo grateful for us coming to his house and helping him change his life. We could feel the spirit and see the change in his life. From that experience it made us feel really good that we were part of that. He gave his thanks and is sad that Elder Thatcher is leaving also. But that experience was so awesome. The Lord truly has a work out here and wants us to bring his children back. I am so grateful for this work. I hope to have and enjoy my two years here. Anyways God Speed. Have a fantastic week.

Week 9
Health is better this week. He is being watched over for sure. We can see that he misses friends so please write him if you can as I am sure he would love to hear from everyone.
Hey familia,
Thank you family for the prayers and advice. I am feeling better and the nurse gave me some pills to take so we will see. Anyways sounds like the Anniversary was awesome and grandpa and grandma enjoyed it. I am glad to hear the whole family is doing way awesome. Sounds like you guys are busy always lol Typical Summer. I think its appropiate to send a DVD of one but I have no clue at all. The only thing is I dont have a dvd player.
Well this week my health was better and we worked hard. Elder Thatcher and I have found some awesome investigators to teach and progress. We have been making the most of it in our area because Elder Thatcher leaves this month to go home. He is nervous to go home and excited to see his family too. He is an amazing companion and I am not sure if I will ever find one like him. Anyways we did not have baptisms this past week but we are going to have some this next week. We are excited. Also President Chaverri leaves with Elder Thatcher´s group to go home and we get a new mission president. The mission is changing fast and we are receiving new missionaries and everything. It will all be good though. I was looking at the calender for this month with cambios and such and found a familiar last name coming to Honduras. I think Ashley Lindblom has a cousin coming to Tegus. How is Ashley. Well Emily ask the Lindbloms if they have someone from their family coming to Honduras. Ummmm our new conversos gave us a reference to another family to teach. They seem really positive and accepting. OH yeah there was a big incident that happened in our zone with 8 missionaries. These 8 missionaries went to a party in an area and they all were caught and aboutt to get sent home. Then the mission president gave them another chance and yeah no good. I always that missionaries were perfect in a every way, but I found out that there is no such thing as a perfect missionary. The work still goes forward though. We have beeen really blessed with awesome families. The Lord truly has a work out here.
Well I think that is all and thank you for the help and suppport. You are all awesome and I love you all. I hope for the best for you. Be safe this summer and have fun. I have truly found happiness in this work. I stilll have a lot to learn and work for. But I know that it is going to truly change my life. Well God Speed.

Week 8
Chases latest from Honduras. He is still positive but struggling with health as he mentions. Please remember him in your prayers.
Hey Mom,
Yeah we are pretty excited for our baptisms and still continue to work hard. Anyways sounds like you are guys are starting to have a fun summer. Please be careful driving through the snow and such. Also chelsey is going to do awesome in college she just needs to keep up in homework and in study. I remember the Lake Powell trip that was such a blast! I will never forget those memories. Anyways how is Arizona doing and the world? I am glad that Navy is saying my name and knows who I am haha Its going to be weird when I come back and see her all grown up. Thats exciting for Grandpa and Grandma Hall able to celebrate an amazing 50 years! Well I love you all and I am glad to hear that everything is going well there I pray for you guys everyday. You are my support through my whole mission. Thank you sooo much!!!!! I love you all. Also who else is married and going on missions??? Let me know if there is more lol. Oh yeah let me know if you got the Ipod or not?
This week my health has been on and off. Mainly I have felt sick or feel really good one day. I am not sure what my body is doing. I am going to talk to the nurse today about it see whats up. Some of our investigators think its an infection, but I have no clue. We are going to see. I am trying to eat healthy but its hard in the south because you never know what people are going to feed you. Plus I have lost i would say 10 pounds or more. Not entirely sure. All of our investigators say I look skinny and lost weight. So yeah I hope to feel better and able to gain some back lol.
This past week was good and bad at the same time. I have been trying to pray for strength form the Lord everyday to feel better. We did okay this week not our best we are going to work harder this week. We are having a baptism today with a joven or young man. We also this past weekend had stake conference, which was so awesome. The cool part was the fact that we got to see all of the members from Choluteca come. We had Elder Clark talk to us from one of the seventy´s quorum. He gave an awesome talk. Well not much else to say, but a normal week. Here are a few pics to take a look at. Well have an awesome week!!

Week 7 Honduras
We let him know that he doesn't have to answer all emails from our family individually since he still prefers to send them directly to Mom.
His Spanish seems to be coming more easily since we hear less and less about the difficulty. I find this amazing given that he has only been in the country a few months. We are also excited to hear of his love for the saving ordinance of baptism. He is doing great from all that we hear.
Looking forward to another letter coming this week.
everyone enjoy.
Dear Mom,
Well sounds like Chelsey is staying busy and starting to grow up. I am so proud of her and what kind of young women she is. Chelsey, you have always been my closest friend and sister. Sounds like the dog is doing well and Mom is getting a job how weird lol, well I know how much you like to read so it will be awesome for you. Umm pictures will come in time, but just be patient :) YES i did get the package today thank you sooooo much!!!!! Anyways sounds like things are going great with you all.
Well this week has been interesting because we have had a couple of service projects and I have gotten some blisters, but its all good though. Then I got sick again from eating something and was not feeling well on Saturday. I am better now though. We baptized another family this week and it was soo awesome. I have baptized two personally and I have not confirmed any. Baptisms are so awesome because they are special and I realize that I am helping these people come unto the kingdom of God. This brings me such tremendous joy. We a fair amount of lessons and are preparing people for baptism. We are excited for this next month because we have some investigators to bring unto Christ. My spanish is coming little by little and I am more confident in talking to people. Anyways we are working hard and trying to bring all unto Christ. Well not much else to say. Oh yeah I finally sent the iPod so look for it in the mail! Well that is all for now. Hope you all have a good week. Love you all!

Week 6
This weeks update.
He is certainly busy in the work and we are especially grateful that the is feeling better this week. His health has been a concern and he shares that he is losing some weight. Some day he will be glad for that.
Hey Madre,
I am doing way better this week, I was not feeling well at all the first couple of days, but I am doing way better. Please do not worry haha.
Its good that Chelsey graduated. Tell her congrats! Anyways tell chelsey to keep up in her studies because college will burn you if you do not do homework and study. I am lucky that I didnt run into that problem yet. This weeks progress is good we baptized and married a family and they are super happy and awesome. Then we are baptizing another family this week on Saturday. We are also marrying them on Thursday and they are such an amazing family. We are hoping for them to be sealed in the temple for eternity when it is done. Elder Thatcher is way good and is counting down the days till he goes home. The missionaries say that I get to kill Elder Thatcher because he is leaving. He is such an awesome companion and I am pretty sure I am staying in the south for a couple more changes. Also thats awesome you got to go to a lesson with the missionaries that seriously helps investigators feel more welcome and they know someone that goes to the church. Also that is awesome that Cody is going to the Dominican Republic!!! I would assume spanish speaking??? I hoping to send myIpod today, I couldnt last week because I didnt have a box to send it in, but I will try today.
Well this past week and this week have been really busy because of the baptisms we have been planning for. Gees we have been so busy and running around everywhere. The work is going forward though and we are pushing forward. OH yeah we got this new missionary from Cambios that is from Highland, UT and he knows the Christensen´s and my cousin Scott Taylor. He said they were best friends in high school and yeah. He knows a couple of people that I know in Utah. HIs name is Elder Zenger, and has red hair. He is super awesome and funny. Anyways the work is still going and yeah. Thank you for the support and your love. The pictures I am not sure entirely yet, but I will figure it out. Well thats all for this week.

Honduras Week 5 "Mothers Day"
Posting his latest letter. This week was great for our family because Chase was able to call home for Mothers Day. Not sure why Fathers Day doesn't get the same blessing??:)
He sounded great, he is safe, happy and had some great stories to tell about what he is doing. He is excited that they expect a family to enter the waters of baptism at the end of the month. It is easy to tell that he is growing in leaps and bounds as he is blessed for his hard work The only bad part of the call was having to say goodbye again.....but we feel extremely fortunate that he is doing so well. Once again some tears were shed but given his letter the next day below he is doing great.
Mom,
Hey it was awesome to talk to you all yesterday!! I forget how much I forget the sounds of your voices. And with Steven I have no clue but we're only aloud one hour with our family. Well thats good that Chad has no cancer! But sad about Jens mom. I hope she will be okay. I sent a letter to Landon a few week ago hopefully he received it. Thank you for the package. Ahhh it was so good to talk to you all.
Well this week the Lord blessed us sooo much. We started the week off with that Liure experience that I told you guys about on the phone. Then we contacted and taught a lot of people this week. We reached 32 lessons I think. We have three families that are being prepared for baptism. They all just need to come to church and they will be ready by the end of the month. We had one family show up to church this week which was such a blessing. The Lord really blessed us this week because of how busy we were with teaching. Our Rama or Branch, did an activity to obtain references and we planned to show the Joseph Smith movie and have popcorn and soda. We had all the members give out invitations to bring there friends. We had this on Friday and so we start preparing for the activity and its about time for everyone to show and there are not many people. But our microwave goes out. Then the projector that we were going to show the Joseph Smith movie for was not there yet. We did not get it until like 730 and the activity started at 6. After a while a lot of people show up and there was about 170 people there. And nothing is working out at all. So we are trying to get the movie going but it wont work or show up. We had so many investigators show up! We came to the point of ending it because we didnt have a movie and not enought popcorn or soda. It was a complete disaster. I could not believe how many people showed up it was crazy. We felt so bad and defeated but we still pushed on and met with our investigators that were there. We apologized and they actually took it pretty well. They were not mad but humble. I am pretty sure the Lord was helping and teaching us a lesson. Which we did. But we still pushed on the rest of the week. I am hoping to keep going forward in the work. The Lord is truly blessing and guiding us. I love the mission. I am learning soo much here.
What else happened.... oh yeah we went had a multi zone activity today and played basketball, soccer, ate food, and watched a movie. Today was soo much fun and we are all tired because of how much basketball we played lol. The stake center here is huge!! Anyways I think that is all. Hope all goes well this week.

Honduras Week 4
I am a little behind getting his recent letter posted. It is continually amazing to see and feel his growth each week. He is amazingly positive and balanced in the Gospel perspective. we are excited that he will soon experience the joy of being an instrument in the Lords hands to bring someone to the gate of baptism.
enjoy
Dear Mom,
enjoy
Dear Mom,
Well I am doing really well and enjoying the mission. There are some hard days but we work through them together. Our week was good we still teach a lot but our only set back is getting people to church on Sunday so they can be baptized. We have three baptisms coming up and two marriages coming up also next week on the 12th. We are excited for that. We have some really strong investigators that we are excited to bring unto Christ. They are so positive and really want to come unto Christ. We had some rain this week and its the beginning of the rainy season here so we are excited for the weather change. We also had a zone conference with President Chaverri and he is such an amazing mission president I love him so much. Even though he is leaving in two months I am going to miss him. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you guys that contacts are prohibited here because there has been some missionaries that were sent home because of eye trouble. The air here is pretty filthy and dusty. So yeah I have been wearing my glasses for the time being. Yeah sound like the same old prom years ha. and I figured Ashley would be engaged. No surprise there. What I eat is basically beans, tortillas, pasta, cookies, granola, eggs, and some really good cheese called quesillo. That is pretty much what we eat every day. Our clothes are washed by a lady from the branch, but she takes forever to wash them and so we are thinking of asking someone else to do them. Our quarters are really small with a bunnk bed, a table for studies, a small kitchen, a small bathroom. Not much but I like it and we also have AC which is a plus! I have take pictures of it so I can show you guys everything later lol.
We get to call on May 10th not sure when exactly but I know what day we get too. Yeah bring questions and I will answer them. well we had an awesome spiritual lesson this past week with this family. The parents are Javier and Maria Josefina, we were teaching them the second lesson and we got the Atonement. Elder Thatcher and I could tell they felt the spirit because they had a look in their eyes and Maria was crying. Then we challenged them to baptism and they both said yes and the spirit was soooo strong in the lesson. I cant believe how amazing the feeling was that we were helping the children of God come back unto Christ. This work is so amazing.
My companion is amazing and so spiritual. He is one of the best missionaries that I have ever met. He has two months left in the mission and says he doesnt want to leave, but his time is coming to the end and he needs to progress farther. I love my companion and want to be like him. He is such a great trainer and leader. I could not ask for a better companion. Anyways I have been hearing some weird rumors that Osama bin Laden was killed? I have no clue lol. Also I will send my Ipod back and see if you rreceive it hopefully. Excited to call you guys and tell you how the area is.
Con Amor,
Elder Hall
